What is Job Fest?

Job Fest began in 2012 with a series of job fairs held across Kern County. The overwhelming success of those early events highlighted the community’s need for stronger connections between employers and job seekers. Building on that momentum, Job Fest expanded its efforts to include outreach through social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, allowing us to promote job opportunities quickly and directly to local residents.

Over the years, Job Fest has grown into much more than just a job fair. We now host multiple in-person hiring events, large-scale countywide job fairs, and even virtual recruitment sessions that make it easier for job seekers to connect with employers from anywhere.
