Frank Cabrera
Frank Cabrera has worked for the County of Kern since 2013, and started with the Job Fest Team in 2016 and has helped build our brand and social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. He has helped coordinate numerous job fairs and hiring recruitments throughout Kern County, including the Delano and Shafter Job Fests. Frank is a motivational speaker for “Be Your Best at Job Fest” at the Bakersfield event each year, where he helps job seekers with tips and tricks to navigate our Job Fest events. . Josh Conner
Josh started with the County of Kern in 2015 with the Job Fest Team. He is a US Army Combat Veteran with service during Operation Iraqi Freedom and has a passion for helping fellow Veterans find available resources. Josh has been one of the core Job Developers responsible for building our brand and social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. As a Job Developer, he brings 16+ years of photography, videography, graphic design, and social media management. Josh has appeared weekly on the Monday morning Channel 23ABC “Kern Back in Business” since early 2019 where he shares information on hiring trends, events and employment tips. He is a motivation speaker presenting “Be Your Best at Job Fest” numerous times at both Bakersfield and Delano Job Fest Events, as well as at statewide at competitions. Networking is very important to him and by building solid relationships with both job seekers and employers, he is able to effectively connect them to each other. Daisy Mejia

Daisy has been with Kern County since 2018. She started in the CalFresh and CalWorks Departments helping translate for families who needed services. Prior to being employed with the County, she worked in the medical field as an Eligibility Worker supporting client relations. Her experiences serving the community led her to become a job developer. Katrina Acosta
Katrina embarked on her career with Kern County in 2013. She began as an extra help Eligibility Worker and became a permanent Human Service Technician in 2014. Her goal and aspiration to continue working in an environment where she would be able to help others within the community set her on the path to become a Job Developer In 2021. Katrina has forged valuable connections with employers and has played a pivotal role in facilitating recruitments, job postings, and effectively connecting job seekers with suitable opportunities. She has now joined the Job Fest team and collaborates with her colleagues, to provide a wide range of services and create opportunities that benefit both employers and job seekers alike.
